UnityLIC stands for Low Impact Conditioning - a modern fitness programme incorporating full body toning exercises, core Pilates conditioning workouts & deep stretching without running or jumping.
Whether you're are regularly breaking a sweat at Zumba or getting muddy on a Sunday with UnityBootCamp, it's time to add another dimension to your training. To get the toned physique you crave for that little black dress, you have to shock your muscles to get it into sizzling shape.
It takes about three weeks for a fit woman to adapt to a new routine. That means as you do a workout over and over again, it eventually gets easier and your body doesn't have to work as hard, which is why you have probably noticed that the workouts change each week. When your body isn't challenged, you burn fewer calories and your metabolism slows down resulting in flat lining. To burn more fat and build more lean muscle, you need to vary your workouts throughout the week so that no workout is the same this will rev up your metabolism and jack up your heart rate, training this way can torch about 500 calories an hour, plus an extra 300 calories in the 24 hours after your workout. What's more, the exercises are super-simple. All you need is bottle of water, a mat, a towel and your good self. Adele will teach you how to use your own body to tone your muscles.
